sometimes I get my inspiration from other blogs, so credit where credit is due below is a link to the inspiration for these
.
THE DOG WHO PULLED TOO HARD
There once was a dog from a farm
With the capacity to be quite calm
More often than not though
He refused to go slow
And pulled off his alphas arm
.
THE WARM LITERARY DOG
There once was a dog who wrote
poems and stories please note
he dropped his pen
again and again
and permanently wore a fur coat
.
NOT ABOUT A DOG
cats are unusual creatures
who hunt mice and befriend history teachers
they sit on my fence
their stare is intense
and apparently poo in small beaches
.
THE TRAVELLING DOG
There was a young dog from Peru
who befriended a french Gnu
they travelled through Asia
and a bit of Croatia
and ended up in Honolulu
.
BIKER DOG
I once dreamed of owning a Hog
obviously built for a dog
with pedal extensions
breaking conventions
and space to carry a log
I’ll stop now.

Love, love, love these! Limericks are very fun to write. Everyone knows the ‘beat’ to them. Thank you for these and the link 😉

Curious – How does a dog type out poems without thumbs?

Don’t ask me, I get Hey to do my typing for me, I’m far too busy controlling CAT.
